I used to be afraid to share my dreams out loud. Now I embrace it. After running my own indie label part time for 8 years, I'd keep my grand ideas of performing to a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden between me and God. Not so much these days...
I'm striving to make the best hat with the best messaging. Ever! I was eating lunch with my best friend yesterday at Denny's and this guy in his 70's stopped and asked me if my hat meant 'worship'. And from there the conversation started :)
Here's a guy from a different background, a completely different culture and we're having a vibrant conversation about God and worship.
That's my goal, to create really dope hats that produce triggers; when I walk into my closet every morning I see my stack of hats, it's a reminder of how good God has been to me.
When everyone else counted me out. When know one else believed in my dreams. When my life was falling apart, all I had was Jesus. And I worshiped Him. Through lots of tears and frustration...but I made it. I'm living proof that failure is just a learning tool to propel you to greatness.
Now I get to share that passion with the world; to inspire people to complain less and WRSHP more. One hat at a time. One story at a time. And on my journey I plan on helping fund some really incredible missions and non-profits that help advance the Gospel. You wanna know the coolest thing about that? You get to help me do it and you get high-end apparel (that's not cheesy!) in the process.
